Windows 8
I hate Windows 8 with a passion. It's made strictly for tablets not Dell laptops. Does Dell sell a new laptop using Windows 7? Because I'm about to throw this laptop away its practically useless. If not I would like to format my Windows 8 laptop and install Windows 7. Does anyone know of any issues I might face in doing this?

I'd recommend sticking with 8. I've found it works much better than 7 on my old Acer Extensa running a Celeron 550 @ 2Ghz. But if you have to change then there shouldn't be any compatibility issues as 8 is built on the same kernel as 7 (NT 6.*)
