Wireless Wake on Lan - Latitude ST

Can anyone confirm that the Latitude ST supports wireless wake on lan, and that it functions correctly?

Thanks,

Chad

Zerochad,

Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.

This system does support wake on lan, You can boot into the bios to verify.

This option allows the computer to power up from the off state when triggered
by a special LAN signal. Wake-up from the Standby state is unaffected by this
setting and must be enabled in the operating system. This feature only works
when the computer is connected to AC and Docking Station.

Default setting:Enabled

Jesse,

Thank you for your response.  Just to verify, WoL from an off state (not wake-up from standby) will only function when the computer is connected to an AC power source and docking station.

Thanks again,

Chad

Hi, can you tell me what this "special" signal is ot how I can produce it to get the laptop booting?

I turned it on in the BIOS setting but now what? ;-)

Thanks in advance!

René.
