XPS 13 9343 early 2015 turn off touchpad
Can someone direct me to the process for turning off the touchpad when using an external Bluetooth mouse on my XPS 13 9343? I can go through device manager and disable the touchpad but the touchpad is enabled each time I restart the machine. There must be an easier way that I can't find.

If you go to "PC Settings," one of the options is "PC and devices." Under "Mouse and Trackpad" there should be the option: Leave touchpad on when a mouse is connected.

On my computer I don't see the option to Leave touchpad on when a mouse is connected. The only settings available for the touchpad are the options in delay in clicks.

Are you sure you are in PC Settings instead of the Control Panel then? You should be seeing a screen like this:

Go to the Desktop Control Panel and select the Mouse icon. You may see more options than on the Metro side. If not, see if Dell has an updated driver. If not or you still don't have the option, you can try drivers from other sources for your pad (Alps or Synaptics. I have successfully used drivers from Toshiba.
