This laptop is about six weeks old and just sprouted a vertical blue line that does not show up in screen shots. The picture is taken with my phone camera.
I've run all the diagnostics I can find everything is said to be normal. The unit has not sustained any damage. Ideas?

Definitive test is to attach an external screen - if the line doesn't show, and it likely won't, it's time to have the display panel replaced under warranty.

Hello,
I am having the same problem in the same laptop . the vertical blue line appeared after 5 weeks of use.
Laptop is on warranty .I have send two message to Dell support since Monday 21 September without answer at the moment .
If you had sucess contacting Dell support could you report your experience ?
