XPS17 Bluetooth Issues

I am having trouble with my bluetooth on my XPSL702X. I cannot get a bluetooth device to link. It will occasionally recognize the device but the computer freezes up before it will link. When I tried to uninstall the driver, the computer also froze. I had read about reseating the bluetooth card, but I am not sure where it is located. Can anyone help?

Thanks,

Willie

Hi Willie2112,

Welcome to the Community. Try uninstalling the bluetooth driver in safe mode. Press the F8 key at the Dell logo, select safe mode with networking, click on start, right click on computer, click on properties, click on device manager, click on the symbol next to network adapters right click on the bluetooth card and click on uninstall, click ok to confirm, once its removed use the below link to reinstall it. After you install restart your computer.

Bluetooth Application:

Hope this helps.

Thank you
