bluetooth

Got a problem with bluetooth. The bluetooth light on my dell studio 1737 is acting up..the light  comes on thru the boot process and stays on till I get to the log in screen. When I swipe finger to log in the bluetooth light goes off, for a breif moment, comes back on and ,then stays off. After, windows loads the light goes off and doesn.t come back on. This all started when I installed a couple of windows7 updates......Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB982110)...and, Update for windows 7 for x64-based systems (KB2272691)....I 've tried reinstalling drivers. But, for some reason bluetooth doesn't even show up in Hardware or device mgr. So, I don't know how to update the driver. The bluetooth light had been staying on until I installed a couple of days ago..
