d 630 graphics
Does the D 630 have a fuse on the motherbaord to protect the display as my machine works fine with an external monitor but not with display. I have tried three different screens which work on other machines. It is the Intel Chip.

No the backlight CFL Tube has a limited life. The display is bad so it must be replaced. That said its not worth paying someone to fix it when you can get another D630 for $250 on amazon or pcretro.com or microcenter etc.
