dell latitude m70 hard drive giving me problems now stuck in safe mode any idea how to get out of safe
my dell latitude m70 laptop lost desktop icons and use of all programs.when i scroll over all programs in start menu it says empty but when i went to add or delete it shows everything still there anyway i was messing around and got it into safe mode to try and run something now i dont know how to get it out.any ideas on either problem? thanks in advance.

The symptoms you describe, no desktop icons and "empty" program folders in the Start Menu, indicate a particularly noxious malware that has been making the rounds lately. You need to post your problem on the Malware Removal Forum.

Press F12 at powerup. Boot to the Dell diagnostics and run an extended - not just quick - hard drive test.
