"The AC power adapter type cannot be determined..."

Before you redirect me to other threads that have already reported this problem, I would like to tell you that I don't have the same problem.

I get this error message when plugging in my charger:

"The AC power adapter type cannot be determined. Your system will operate slower and the battery will not charge. T

his problem may be solved by:

-Ensure the plug is inserted completely for best system operation.

-Connection a Dell 130W AC adapter or higher."

Now, when this happens, my system operates really slow and I'm unable to play my games.  What  want to know is what can I do to make it to where my system operates the way I have it set up to.  When the charger isn't plugged it, my system operates just as fast as it would if it were charging.  However when it's plugged in and giving that message, it runs slow.

First, what model system?

Second, does the BIOS list the AC adapter, or is it showing "unknown"?

Dell Inspiron 15R.

I do not know where to check that in the System Information.
