sound device
I have a headset I would like to make my default device for sound and i am not able to set it as the default, option is grey when I look, cant set it to default.

I have a headset I would like to make my default device for sound and i am not able to set it as the default, option is grey when I look, cant set it to default.

Hi,
Welcome to the Community. I suggest you uninstall and reinstall your sound drivers. Click on start, right click on computer, click on properties, click on device manager, click on the symbol next to Sound, right click on the Audio codec and click on uninstall, click ok to confirm. Once its removed log on to support.dell.com, click on home users, click on drivers and downloads, enter your service tag, and download and install the audio driver.
