Key Strokes Beep

I just swapped a hard drive on my N411Z running windows 7 and I have a few issues I can't seem to resolve.  First, the processor fan runs on high all the time.  I have upgraded to the BIOS A06 and it still runs constantly.  Second, Each time I hit a key, they beep.  How can I turn this off.  And third, when I go into device manager, I find the "SM Bus Controller is not working and I can't seem to find the correct driver.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Cornbread RW,

I would request you to check in Safe Mode if the fan is running high and also if you get the beeps from the keyboard.

As per your description regarding the SM Bus Controller, it can be any of these following drivers:

  1. DELL,SRV,DRVR,USB 3.0,CTL,L702X,2.1.27.0,A03
  2. Intel Huron River (HM67), v.9.2.0.1030, A01
  3. Intel Management Engine Interface Driver
  4. Realtek RTS5128 Card Reader, v.6.1.7600.30127, A01

Please install one at a time and check device manager if the error remains.

Hope this helps!
