Need compatible system board for Latitude C600 to replace 7f162 board on old system
The Rear USB port on the back side of my Latitude C600 is physically broken and I need to replcae the system board and am having a difficult time finding an exact replacement.
Not to picky as long as it works with the same processor and memory as well as having the same I/O functions available.

You may as well just install a USB 2.0 PCMCIA card - it'll upgrade you to USB 2.0 support and bypass the broken port, plus cost $30 or less.

You cam find many sellers of this board on the web. Search for "Dell c600 7f162". However, ejn63's solution is mucho easier and cheaper.
