PR01x D/Port DVI Problem

Question

A new unit is not giving DVI display with M6300 Notebook. Display is fine straight from notebook to monitor. No DVI display thru D/Port. Other D/Port functions are OK. Anything I am missing?

With the assistance of Dell Support Chat, the solution was found that the Notebook had to be docked with the cover closed in order for the DVI connection to the display to work. Docked with the cover open only allows VGA display.

This is NOT true. I can have my D630 open while on my PR01X d/port replicator, and my 2nd monitor (connected via DVI) works just fine. Now, if I could only find why nothing else works when docked...like my mouse, keyboard, LAN card, etc. Very frustrating.
