Ricoh xD Picture Card Disk Device is not recognized in My Computer

When the drive is working properly I can insert my xD card into the drive and I am usually prompted by Windows to open file, and the drive appears in My Computer.  Now I see that windows recognizes the card but I am not promted to open file, nor does a drive letter apper in My Computer.  

I checked Device Manager and the Drive is working properly. Also, ahen I insert the xD card the drive appears in Device Manager under Disk Drives. 

The card seems to be fine, as I can view pictures from the camera.  Any ideas?
