I would request you to try a clean re-installation of the Display Adapters. That is, uninstalling and re-installing the video drivers. To uninstall the video drivers please follow the steps:
Open Device Manager (Start -- Control Panel -- Device Manager).
Expand the tab for Display Adapters and right click the Intel Graphics.
From the drop down menu, select “Uninstall”.
Ensure to check the box “Delete driver software for this device”.
I am facing same as your problem, and i install the latest version of dell driver but its not working properly and i facing the same problem.
(Mainly when surfing the net, my screen blacks out and recovers with the following message " Display Driver Intel Graphics Accelerator Driver for Windows Vista(R) has stopped responding and has recovered". )
Can u tell me what is the name of latest driver you installed, and if possible please send me step by step instruction to solve my problem.
I am using also Dell vostro 1015 model with windows 7 ultimate.

Ensure you have the latest latest video driver for your hardware.
Go to Intel's website here downloadcenter.intel.com/Default.aspx and use the Intel® Driver Update Utility to scan your system.

Hello Jonson,
Go to this link and download the driver:
www.dell.com/.../vostro-1015
I followed the installation instructions present in the same page which I have pasted here for your convenience. Hope this helps...

select Desktop and click Save. The file will download to your desktop.

5.After completing the file extraction, if the Self-Extractor
window is still open, close it.
