E6440 1600x900 screen broken
Does anybody know if all E6440 laptops used the same screen if it was a 1600x900 resolution? Mine has got broken and I need to get a replacement. I have seen spare E6440 screens for sale but need to make sure I buy one that will work with it. Due to a slight lack of confidence I only want to disassemble and reassemble it once.

They won't necessarily all use the same screen, but within type they should all interchange (by that I mean non-touch or touch).
Try parts-people.com, which can accurately tell you what will work and what won't.
