How to Order Lattitude 7410 with WAN card?
Hello,
I am interested in purchasing a 7410 with WAN (LTE) capability. However, in the "customize" section, I don't see a ability to add-on a WAN card that will also allow me to factory-spec a LTE antenna.
Did I miss something in the customize area?
Thanks,
Chris

Yes, you missed it!

Scroll down to Displays, there are only 2 displays with WWAN listed (Regular and Touch), so it has to be configured with one of those displays. Keep scrolling for the Mobile Broadband option.

I have no idea what you’re talking about! Never-the-less, I’ll post a different link to it. Dell has 14 base configurations for the Latitude 2410 and 4 of them allow the user to customize the display and specify Mobile Broadband; cto01, cto02, cto03, and max05. In order of appearance:

Google dell latitude 7410 and all 14 configuration can be found in this returned link:

Welcome to the Dell Community @CFoote2668
One of the easiest ways to tell is if the laptop has drivers for a WWAN card.
Looking at the drivers for that laptop it has been sold with 2 different WWAN cards. "So far???"
https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/latitude-14-7410-2-in-1-laptop/drivers
Listed under Modem/Communications:
Dell Wireless 5829e and Qualcomm Snapdragon X20:
Dell Wireless 5821e/Qualcomm Snapdragon X20:
Now this does not mean only these cards will work but it does mean the laptop is sold with WWAN cards preinstalled.
Best regards,
U2

@ibmarc
That returned link you provided.
Try clicking Customize and Buy button on the 7410 priced for $1909.
Do you see anything for customizing a WWAN card?
I sure don't.

Like I said, 4 or 14 configurations allow you to configure a Mobile Broadband option, that means 10 of the 14 configurations do not allow a Mobile Broadband option.

Most people won't go through all 14 configurations.
Dell will be lucky if buyers bother to go to two of the 14 configurations to look for one that has a WWAN card. In most instances, if the first configuration doesn't have it, they'd assume all of them don't.
Make it easy for the consumer.
