RAM Compatibility for Latitude e5570

Hello,

Can somebody tell me if these RAM sticks are going to be compatible with the Latitude e5570 laptops?

Crucial DRAM 8GB DDR4 2400 MT/s (PC4-19200) CL17 DR x8 Unbuffered SODIMM 260pin

I will not use the original memory stick and instead I want to have 2 of the Crucial sticks in Dual Channel Mode.

DamyanGatev,

Below are the memory specs for the system. The memory you are wanting to add is not the correct speed.

Latitude E5570: 2 x SODIMMs DDR4 2133MHz, supports up to 2 x 16 GB modules

The memory you're looking at is rated for a higher speed, but even if the system can't take advantage of that, the modules should simply run at the lower speed.  It should be absolutely fine.

Hi Jesse, what's the BEST 2 x 16gb SODIMM RAM for my E5570 that will actually run at 3200mhz? Thanks

Welcome to the Dell Community @myE5570

It does not matter if it is the best or the fastest memory money can buy it will only run at the CPU's Memory Bus speed.

Look up your CPU and find it's max memory speed.

Hi,

I bought one year ago a Dell Latitude e5570 with Intel Core I5 6200U Laptot, and I want to what is the maximum amount of ram I can use to upgrade It, 2x8GB = 16GB (sure), 2x16=32GB (unsure) ?

Thanks a lot for your answers.

In my case, I did upgrade my old E7470, Dell said it is 16GB Max, Intel said 32GB max, I went with 2x32GB worked like a charm, but whatever speed you take, you will get 2133MHz only, since no XMPP support.
