odd Latitude/skype issue

Forgot to look at the model, but probably two year old latitude...

When she tries to skype, she can hear them, but they can’t hear her

In skype settings, it shows that the mic is working

In skype settings, it tests fine using their test tool, and plays back my voice

Skype works fine if she is docked (Logitech camera) OR if you move the Logitech camera to the undocked laptop

Sound settings seem fine—again, even in skype settings, it shows microphone signal when you talk

Its just not sending her sound out thru skype using the built in mic

yeah, yeah, a Skype issue--just wondering if anyone had this?  (its been reinstalled too)
