Update on XPS 13/15 2016 Developer Edition availability

Yes, that information was about XPS 13" availability in the UK.

Has a workaround (kernel param, Xorg setting, etc) been found for 9350 QHD hanging in Ubuntu 16.04 (daily)?  Web page scrolling (or anything demanding) can make the screen pause, sometimes for a couple of seconds, sometimes needs a reboot.  I'm guessing you're working really hard on this, or it's solved and waiting to deploy - either way, I'm guessing you know where the problem is and hopefully have a suggestion to make it usable.

hey Barton, do you happen to have a list of the final configurations that will be rolling out? i'd love to order now if i knew what they were (and i was able to of course).

I assume the available configs will be the same as the non-DE version, but with Intel cards. At least I HOPE there's a non-Touch version coming ... ;)

I think it's confirmed that there will be at least one version with fhd Display

I'm hoping for configs that don't use the max CPU option (i7-6560U). Based on the windows version, looks like downgrading to the i5-6200U would save $250 USD.

I know now it is too early for the european customers, but I asked DELL chat in germany if there will be a developer edition xps13 to come. The guy told me that there are no plans to put the developer edition machines into their sale program.

Will there still be the chance for us or do we have to drill a windows machine?

Coming soon is: an i5 option.  The i5 configuration will come with 8GB RAM, a 256GB SSD and FHD NT.  The timing of the i5 config is dependent on the depletion of the current inventory on hand (which is going fast).
