XPS 13 9343 power light not on when running
The power light on the front lights up when the machine is plugged in and charging. However when unplugged and on the light doesn't light up.
The only reason I care about this is it's an indicator that the system has turned off when I close the lid (i..e light goes out). My xps 13 9333 had a problem whereby it frequently didn't suspend correctly and you could catch it as the light wouldn't go out. I don't want this machine to fry itself in my bag because it won't turn off.
I'm running ubuntu 14.04.2 LTS (with the latest updates) and kernal 3.19.9-18-generic
Anyone else have this issue?
Anyone found a fix?

The way mine works, I figured the front light only indicated charging and not power. The only power light seems to be on the power button, which won't help you much.

Thanks for replying.
This is interesting, that would mean the xps 13 9333 works differently. Perhaps this changed it with this newer model.
