Re: Dell Inspiron 3585 always boot to diagnostic screen

additional info:

Boot under live usb with paragon disk manager. Delete all partition on disk. Reinstall ubuntu 18.04. Problem not fix. Always start from "SupportAssistant" screen with message "No Memory on previous boot". If click continue - start Ubuntu normaly. If click diagnostic - pass all test without error (including memory test)

I'm actually facing a similar problem with a different model (11-3180). It won't see my live USBs in UEFI+Secure Boot nor Legacy w/o Secure Boot (ultimately reset to factory settings). I deleted all the partitions with Gparted on a live USB but ever since I've had no luck, except burning the ISO to a DVD & booting to the live CD (DVD drive connected by USB). I installed openSUSE & the laptop is working fine now, but it not booting to a USB flash drive is a mystery to me. Have you tried a live CD, if you're able to?
