Sound problem with PCLinuxOS on Inspiron 530

Hi, I tried running the PCLOS LIveCD on a new Dell 530, and it failed to detect the audio card. The odd part, is the correct drivers (snd_hda_intel) were loaded, but not used, and PCC Hardware indicates no audio card at all. If anyone is running PCLOS 2007 on a Dell 530, I'd appreciate hearing if you had sound card issues, and if you did have problems, what was the solution to fixing them? TIA, Dan
