n series cd drive stopped working
ok i have a brand newish n series desktop. first day i had it i used the bios and booted and installed ubuntu 7.10 from its cd. i was in heaven. but now i cant boot from my cd drive or read any disk in ubuntu. the bios and ubuntu recognize the drive but nothing works. any help would be awesome. jebsky

mnt /dev/sr0 /mnt/cdrom
to find out if your cd device has been moved to /dev/sr0 (scsi cdrom).
If that does not help, install hwinfo and find out your cdrom drive:
hwinfo --cdrom
