here is how I fixed the issue =

Go to Settings --> Privacy --> Microphone

"Allow apps to access your microphone" set to "ON"

Also

"Choose which Microsoft Store apps can access your microphone" set Edge to "ON"

The AE515M Soundbar mic now works in Meetings. Interestingly under Settings --> System --> Sound --> Input the AE515M Soundbar is listed as the device, but the "Test your microphone" still doesn't respond. No matter it works in Meetings.

Same problem for me. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it did not work. Help please

I have the same problem here too. There is NO Microphone in MS Teams. Device Manager, Settings all showing that "Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (DELL PROFESSIONAL SOUND BAR AE515) is working OK. Interestingly the Speaker is working OK for me with MS Teams & I can hear sound. So I have to type on the chat box in MS Teams.

There was another post regarding the same issue. Did you both see it? I tried the proposed solution going to Device Manager but did not work for me.
