DDM and Windows Key

hi, I installed DDM, and it looks like it has disabled my Windows key? Is this normal? Any way to re-enable the windows key?

Thanks,

Nathan

Are you referring to the Windows operating system activation validation key? If yes, I am not sure how the DDM software could effect this key? I have never heard of DDM doing this.

Hi Chris, sorry, not the activation key, but the windows key on the keyboard.

I can understand that maybe they dont want you using Windows + Arrow keys to move windows around, but I use it for a few other things!

Windows Snap - which uses the Windows logo key in combination with others - is automatically disabled by DDM if Easy Arrange is enabled, to avoid conflicts between the two screen partitioning schemes. But the Windows logo key itself is not touched. When you press the Windows logo key alone, doesn't the Windows Start menu appear?

Hi, nothing happens.  Both windows keys are disabled at the moment.

DDM doesn't do that. You should uninstall it, in search for the source of the problem.
