Dell 2707WFP LCD making cracking and popping sounds, splitting apart in the corner.

My 2707WFP makes a lot of cracking and popping sounds as it heats up and cools down. A bit of thermal expansion is to be expected, however the case has started to split apart in the corner. For those who are not familiar with the monitor, it is comprised of a plastic center section, with aluminum front and back bezels. The back bezel is now separated from the plastic in the upper left corner. Not much I can do about it, but I'm wondering if others are having the same kind of problems. A bit of a disappointment given the cost of these displays.
