S2716DG, 1080p at 144Hz possible with HDMI?

Hello,

I just bought the Dell S2716DG and it arrived and started hooking everything up. It connects fine and is recognized and is currently running at 2560x1440 60Hz. Is it possible to drop the quality to get a higher refresh rate? My computer is capable of doing so. It's just the output settings that are throwing me. If not possible with HDMI, would some sort of adapter be supported? I don't need the G-Sync or any features just 1080p 144Hz.

If you did not purchase this S2716DG directly from Dell, you have to fill out the Service Tag number Ownership Transfer form.

1080p at 144Hz is not supported by Dell. 144Hz is only supported using DP in port running at 2560x1440. You can see this in the online S2716DG User's Guide page 12 =

You should start a new thread on the Nvidia Forum discussing a non-supported "custom" resolution and Hz.
