S2716DG, Burn-in, defaults to on during wake up or power on
This monitor always defaults to the Burn-in on/enabled after wake up or power on. If I un-check the Burn-in in the Factory Service menu, it will go to sleep, however, on the next wake up, everything goes back to default of Burn-in On in the Factory Service menu set. Monitor is less than 6 months old. Any help would be appreciated.

Get it exchanged.
For my notes =
* Was this monitor purchased directly from Dell?
* What is the 20 digit s/n and A0x revision? Check the back label
* Did you have this issue "out of the box" ?
* Did someone at Dell tell you how to enter the Factory Service menu?

A00? Wow. We are selling new ones at A07. Your S2716DG left our manufacturer on January 11, 2017. Makes you wonder how long newegg had it on their shelves and still sold it as new.

is there a firmware update i can put on to update to A07, or should i go through support to get it fixed?

Unfortunately, we do not have any mechanism in place to allow customers to update the firmware on this monitor. A firmware update is only done in our service centers on New and returned monitors. The only way to get a monitor with the updated firmware is via a used monitor exchange.
