ST2210B, black screen

My screen goes black after staying on for a few seconds. A few days prior to screen going black, half of the screen had a pinkish color. Connected the monitor to a different computer and it does the same thing. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Carolyn.

If the monitor fails the Built-in Diagnostics, page 30:
http://www.dell.com/support/my-support/us/en/19/product-support/product/dell-ST2210B/manuals

it is defective and should be replaced if still inside the Dell 3 year warranty period.
