U2410 colors yellow/green for Windows Photo Viewer, Photoshop CS4 still reports "Monitor Profile 'Dell U2410' appears to be defective"

Hello,

I have a U2410 monitor and recently I installed the accompanied driver and color profiles.

Windows Photo Viewer shows the pictures yellow/green and Photoshop CS4 still  reports "Monitor Profile 'Dell U2410' appears to be defective".

I've read earlier threads and tried to install   Betav3.icm => no change.

Within Photoshop I changed the color settings - Workin Spaces- RGB    to   Monitor RGB - DELL U2410. Color seems ok, but this can't be the solution. (photoshop works now as if color management was turned off)
Edit: This was only working for 1 picture ... so still a color profile problem.

What am I doing wrong.

Chris M:

Could you give me a list of thinks to check, to do and in which order?

Do I need to install A02 driver?

(working on Windows 7 64-bit)

Hello Chris,

Should this solve my problem? (has it always been an hardware/firmware issue?)
(I was under the impression that it had to do with a wrong colorprofile)

I also ask this because I just noticed the following:

I have recently obtained a second U2410 and connected this to the same PC as the first one.
(working on the first (with the color issue) and using the second for reading manuals and socializing apps)

This morning i noticed that the color issue does not exist on the second monitor for Windows Photo Viewer, but still on Photoshop!?!?!
