U2515H, HDMI/DVI to DP/mDP
I've recently purchased a graphics card the card had for output either HDMI or DVI. My U2515H has HDMI in ports (but those are MHL) and DP in or mDP in. I'm trying to connect it to my U2515H but I've run into a problem my HDMI to mDP cable doesn't seem to work. Not sure if its suppose to work from what I've seen on this community board. Whats my best option for optimal performance?

If this U2515H was not purchased directly from Dell by you, you have to fill out the Ownership Transfer form before Dell can support it.
* Go back to the top of this Monitors Forum
* Open the sticky, "FAQ Monitor"
* Open, "PC HDMI/DVI/VGA out to Monitor DP/mDP in"
The MHL reference is confusing to all. It just means that the both HDMI in ports will "work" with a Mobile High-Definition device and cable. Both U2515H HDMI in ports will also work from a video card HDMI out port like this =
video card HDMI out port --> HDMI to HDMI cable --> U2515H HDMI in port
