U2718Q, firmware M2B102, turns USB off [SOLVED]
I have two U2718Q on my desk. Charging my devices were very convenient through the USB charger port. After the latest firmware update (that one for green gain) the USB downstream ports are turned off when the monitor sleeps. In my opinion, it is a firmware bug. The configuration to keep the USB ports ON in the "Personalize" menu it's simply ignored. Dell please fix this.

Hi Chris, the issue was solved by just reloading the monitor completely...that is...removing the power plug from the outlet, wait 30 seconds or so and then plugging it again.
I can't remember if I did that after the firmware upgrade I think I didn't when the instructions explicity says to do so.
Anyway...thanks for your response.

Even if only charging devices, the monitor to which those devices are attached must have the USB upstream cable connected from the monitor to the computer. Is it?

You need to post pictures showing the Menu setting and then showing the devices plugged in and to what ports, and showing that they are not charging.

Thanks for the update. So a power reset fixed it, interesting.
