U2719DC, USB Type-C, CalDigit dock, not working
Hi Chris,
I've got the the same problem as described with my U2719DC. If the U2719DC is connected to the laptop via the USB Type-C to USB Type-C, it is working fine.
If it is connected via USB Type-C to a Thunderbolt 3 dock (CalDigit TS3plus-dock) (USB Type-C to USB Type-C U2719DC) it doesn't work, it stays black. If I use a USB Type-C to DP adapter (CalDigit TS3plus-dock USB Type-C --> DP on the U2719DC side) it also works fine.
Any suggestions?
Regards Sascha

Perhaps the supplied U2719DC USB Type-C cable (C to C) is just not compatible with that CalDigit dock? Maybe you need their specific Thunderbolt 3 cable?

I am having the exact same issue. Dell U2719DC connected to Caldigit TS3+ does not work, but connecting the monitor directly to the USB-C port on the laptop works fine.
Per the suggestion, used the Caldigit Thunderbolt3 cable to connect the monitor to the dock, and purchased a second Thunderbotl cable to connect the laptop to the dock. That didn't make any difference.
OP, what did you end up doing? I'm considering returning the monitor.

same issue, Mac (late 2018 version) to U2719DC directly via USB-C cable, monitor works. but if Mac to Belkin Thunderblot 3 Dock then via USB-C to monitor, it says no signal then black out...I thought it was Belkin's problem then I returned the dock. So sorry for Belkin, but seems its Dell made this

Same issue here. Did you find a resolution? Has anyone contacted Dell support?
