UP3214Q, firmware update, out of warranty

I have a Dell UP3214Q monitor which I bought in 2015.

I have issues with it not wanting to show any image after my PC comes out of sleep mode.

The only option to bring the monitor back to life is to unplug the powercord.

The monitor, unfortunately is out of warranty, but I read on this forum that there is a firmware upgrade available (expired 11/2017).

However, it is not available for download.

I've contacted Dell customer support by phone but they told me they could not do anything for me.

Surely there is an option to get a quote and pay for the costs myself?

(which honestly, considering it is a firmware issue, is somewhat outrageous, out of warranty or not, especially for such an expensive high end product)

What are my options?

Thank you!

* Unfortunately, no. Because we never released a customer accessible firmware update, the only way to get the UP3214Q with the firmware installed was via an exchange. But you had to be within the purchased warranty period. Dell does not offer any out of warranty services for monitors.
