What Dell monitor model?
I have a Dell Monitor which I want to move from using as an external monitor on my old MacBook to using as an external monitor on a Lenovo laptop. However the monitor isn't showing up on the laptop - it just says 1. Analog Input then the screen goes blank and the power button turns orange. I thought maybe it was a driver issue but I can't see a Model number on the monitor, just this code - PL-OCX627-70710-768-1D6L. Can anyone advise what model this is?

Check the number again. "CX627" is not a Dell part number.
To what video out port are you connecting on the Lenovo laptop? Using what cable? To what video in port on the monitor?
