burn in on 2001fp
I've had my 2001fp for a little over a year now. I've recently had a couple problems:
In my upper left corner I get image burn in if something is sitting there for a while (as in 20 minutes or so) I can see a ghost of an icon, window, or wallpaper- I can see traces of color or some lines.
My second problem I need to do some more testing, but I'm pretty sure it's my monitor- after I turn off the monitor while the computer is on I turn it back on after several hours and sometimes I only get a blank screen. Sometimes switching the inputs to s-video to composite and back to DVI-D I'll get the image back. I tried reformatting my computer and still have the problem.
What is the warranty period for this monitor?
I'd appreciate any insight.
Thanks.

clyeg123,
Thank you for using the Dell Community Forum.
Monitors have 3 year warranties.

I should note that it does not appear to be permanent burn in- it seems to go away after the monitor has been off for a while. But it is still very annoying.

clydeg123,
You can sure contact Dell about a replacement if you are still within the warranty period.
