Backup of VM's within Hyper-V using Cluster Shared Volume
Hi.
According to the NMM2.3 documentation, the backup of Cluster Shared Volumes is not supported.
Does that mean that it's not supported to backup the VM's on the Hyper-V cluster through the VSS with saveset:
APPLICATIONS:\Microsoft Hyper-V\virtual_machine_name_1,
if the cluster is using CSV?
Does this limitation perhaps only apply to the filesystem backup of the Hyper-V hosts?

Hi Johannes,
If a VM is residing on a CSV, the only supported backup would be in-guest, not from Hyper-V.
We are working on it though and CSV support is coming early next year with NMM.
