Sorry but cannot see the message... clicking the link redirects me to login to office 365...
If this is a new installation, NetWorker already offers a evaluation license good for 45 days from the day you install and start your NetWorker server.
If this evaluation period has passed, you are still allowed and able to recover your data.
Please contact your Dell EMC account representative to discuss purchasing a permanent license.

hello,
thanks for the reply.
I don't recall getting any license file along with the Networker bits.
Can you point me to the URL where I can download it ?
thanks in advance

Purchasing a NetWorker license is usually done through your account/sales rep.
However, you can contact licensing by emailing licensing@emc.com

With NW9.1.x (at least), this has been extended way more

That is correct. The new evaluation period is 90 days. According to the NetWorker 9.1 Licensing Guide, page 21:
"If you do not install the License Server during the NetWorker software installation, you can still install this server at a later time. If NetWorker does not detect the license and a nsrd check for available licenses does not discover any licenses, NetWorker enters evaluation mode for a period of 90 days.... "
FYI: The licensing guide provides additional temporary enabler codes for NetWorker products, and each are good for 45 days. See page 55.

we have a running machine with added license
after a recent restart of NWR services we are seeing this error. the license file is intact.
i am assuming the license services shud be stopped before the networker services, any clues around this?

The sequence should not matter at all.
