Can I do a diff backup compare with a full backup on SQL server 2012 ?
Hi buddy
I used networker 8.2 for database module to backup SQL server 2012.
The strange thing is I want make a diff backup compare a full database backup. But the networker engineer said I just could perform
the FULL backup and TLOG backup(incremental backup), the different backup is impossible by using networker.
Is it possible that I could do a diff backup compare with FULL backup ?

You can easily Perform a level full or differential database backup provided database is in bulk_logged/Full recovery model: Even Simple mode supports it however Togs is not supported with Simple mode.

Yes, you can select level 1 backup throughout to implement the differential backups.
