Hello
Hi..What considerations are there to configure a client backup as regards the Network .What file or files need to be appropriately populated before setting up a client for backup...Any locations that need to be checked for configurations.How to configure the Interfaces etc
I need to backup unix and windows clients on Solaris 10.
We have Networker 7.6.0

Hello,
The file/s to be concerned with would be the \nsr\res\servers file. Ensure there is an entry for the NW server name in the client's servers file.
In regards to Networking and communications, always validate the DNS records, and if used, confirm that the corect host record entry is in the respective server's host files.
