This is a cluster with 8 nodes and asd-host-hv6 is the active node.
C:\Windows\system32>nsrsnap_vss_save.exe -?
NMM .. changing backup name ASD-HOST-HV6 to primary name asd-host-hv6.asd.com fo
r multi NIC client.

in the logs there is reference to ASD-HOST-HV1, I assume the Hyper-V in question is is asd-host-hv6? IS the Hyper-V using multiple NIC cards with different host names assigned to them ?
Also, from the client machine run the following command - nsrsnap_vss_save.exe -?

What is the client name that you are using on the client configuration? IS it the Cluster name or the active node ?
Refer the attached document to get the backups configured.

We are using the Cluster name (ASD-HV-CLS.asd.com) And all 8 clients are asd-host-hv1.asd.com,ASD-HOST-HV2 ……………
