NetWorker client compatibility information (reverse) for different windows versions ?

Looking for a reverse compatibility matrix for Networker client software: (I mean: starting from the windows client version)

I have a number of different windows systems to backup and I need to find the correct/best (supported) Networker client version for each of them:

What I already know (found this by using the online compatibility matrix and selecting every Networker version in turn):

Windows 2003 client : maximum version : Networker client v8.1  (v8.1.3.9 ? )

Windows 2016 server : minimum version : Networker client v9.1

So what about Windows 2000 (I know :-) , don't ask) and windows 2008(r2) and 2012(R2) ?

Any advise ?

Please find the current NW online compatibility guide here: CompGuideApp

NW 8.x & 9.x are compatible with Windows 2008 & 2012.

AFIR Windows 2000 was supported up to NW 7.5

This document should answer your questions about pre NW 8.2 versions : http://www.emc.com/collateral/TechnicalDocument/docu35302.pdf

For win2k you will need 7.5.2 build 492 clients - I run those against server which is based on 8.0.4.x code.  Rest I run against 8.4.x or 9.1.1.x or 9.2.1 with client versions being either 8.2.2.x or 8.4.4.x where client is older than win2k8.

You could have had the answer much faster if Dell/EMC would not 'moderate' messages which include links pointing to their own websites .....
