Networker 9 - Block Bases Backup Recovery (Mount / Unmount Fail)
Hello,
I have two clients that are using Block Based Backup. After updating the Client (& Extended Client) from 9.0.0.2 to 9.0.0.5 i got problems with a BBB Recovery (Directed and same host)
The clients are Windows 2008 R2 the NW9 Server and a Storage Node are Windows 2012 R2. I get the Error
"Unable to perform mount/unmont request"
It was running some weeks ago without problems and now I am stuck with a recovery issue. Any Ideas where too look at to solve this problem?
Regards,
Patric

Go back to 9.0.0.2 on these clients and see if it works then. If yes, you should report bug to support.

We are trying to do that right now. Even a rollback to Networker Server 9.0.0.2

Okay - we cleared it out now.
NW 9 9.0.0.5 Server is working with NW 9 9.0.0.2 Block Based Clients
NW 9.0.0.5 seems to be bugged!

Assuming the recovery is being triggered from NMC, can you check what does the log file under nsr\logs\BBB point to
Alternatively you can try running the recover from the command line and check for the error msgs.

There is a digital signature with 9.0.0.5.
Please upgrade to 9.0.0.7 and that should solve the problem
