protecting unsupported OS/DB/application
hi All,
We have ~15 servers in our farm that are unsupported by latest versions of Avamar/Networker. The OS, DB versions are not supported by the respective vendors too. Other than using native tools to dump data to NFS or disk, do we have some tools to protect data?

I would personally create small server on VM and use older version of NW to protect those. Any cost associated with it would be payed by application owner and he would need to accept that all you can provide is support on "best effort" basis given that his/her application is retired by vendor.
