I can not connect to set N3048
Hello friends,
I have a N3048, but I can not connect to configure it.
It has ip default?
For Terminal I came to appear not connect me all the time "@@" and other strange characters. use port | o | o |
There is a default configuration that can put on my pc for conecatrme this device.

I solved the problem,
I had a DB9 to USB converter (one digitus) and this was not working well.
I got a laptop with pueto SR232 and everything went perfectly.

It sounds as though you may not have the proper terminal protocols set. The baud rate, for example, is the usual suspect that causes special characters to appear on the CLI screen. Is this a new switch or has it been in production in the past? If new, I believe the baud rate for your serial port is 9600, so be sure to use that setting on your terminal software. If not new, then someone may have changed it. Try 115200, and other speeds until you find the right one.
Otherwise the factory reset as instructed in the User Guide is always another option.

The switch is new.
I try connect 9600 like said a guide, but only watch @@@ and similar caracters.
Not is the IP or have a way to access to the. I do not know to configure it. Does dell any IP by default or any software to discover switch?
