PC 5524 - Bkp config before update FRMWR
Hi,
after read the doc (ftp://ftp.dell.com/Manuals/Common/powerconnect-5524_User%27s%20Guide_en-us.pdf) It´s not clear to me:
- the only way to backup the current settings (VLAN, IP, users+pwds) is running a TFTP on my computer??
- the only way to update firmware is using a TFTP on my computer?

The copy command on the 5524 can be used to copy the config over the network to tftp. It can also be used to copy the config to a USB drive also.
Console# copy tftp://172.16.101.101/file1 image
Console# copy usb://directory/filename
