System is currently in a master-only mode

How to really reset my factory 5524.

I have done a reset but the message "System is currently in a master-only mode" continues

Is the master light on or off on the switch? Is the switch connected to any other switches?

I would make sure there are no HDMI cables plugged into the switch. Pull the power on the switch, leave it unplugged for a short time, then plug power back in. Observe to see if behavior changes.

If it does not, then you may need to enter the startup menu to manually change the stack ID.

On the startup menu select option 5 for stack menu.

Then option 2 to set the unit ID.

After you receive the message "System is currently in a master-only mode", does the system stop and not load the running config? Or does it continue to load the running config and operate?
