What is "Mframe Bits/Sec"?
Hi,
Powerconnect 6224 firmware 2.2.0.3.
I've read the manuals and Googled but all I can find is that the receive rate on a port is meaured in "mframe" bits/sec. What I want to know is: what is the mframe? I know it can't mean just "bits/sec" because the value is 4051395341 but it's only a GB port, so I have no idea what the number actually means. Any ideas? TIA.

What the rate chart is showing is actually the received packet count as found here:
6224#show statistics ethernet 1/g23
Total Packets Received (Octets)................ 22601608
I have been informed by my Dell contact that the web page will be fixed in the next firmware version.

The description in CLI could be perhaps also modified, instead of "Total Packets Received (Octets)" something like "Total Octets Received" might be better.
It seems to be counting bytes, not packets.
