question about stacking powerconnect 5548
Hi,
I have 2 new 5548 switches that we stacked with HDMI. I'm confused at how i configure both of these with their own IP address. I want to be able to do SNMP monitoring of both switches as well as ping both switches for troubleshooting reasons. Can that be done with stacking?

When stacked, the switches behave as one logical unit. The stack is configured through the master switch, and there is no need to log into each switch in the stack. From the master switch you can configure the entire stack. If you poll the stack, it will reply with SNMP OIDs for each stack member.
